What a great read!!! You won't be able to put this one down and will be waiting in line at the bookstore for the next in this family saga. The character development and story line are captivating and the way the story unfolds is unique and adds to the drama and suspense as you wait to see what happens next to the characters you have come to care about very much.

I received the book from a friend who actually knows the author personally. She said it was a great read and tried to explain what the storyline was. I picked it up up and couldn''t put it down - Rhonda did a great job developing all the characters and now I am a true Rhonda Brown fan - I can''t wait to see what happens to the family in book two. Keep them coming, Rhonda Brown, and congratulations on your first book!!!!

I was absolutely enthralled by the story line and it had my attention from the first pages to the last. It reminded me of all those superstitions associated with the Mexican culture…and I loved the Arizona backdrop. Totally loved the way the story was presented through Sam’s journal. Great book….great reading.
I finished The Journal this morning (I couldn't put it down till I finished it). It was wonderful. I am so looking forward to reading your second and third book.
My wife, Cynthia, finished reading The Journal in only 2 days, because, as she put it, “I just couldn’t put it down”. She said she really loved it and can’t wait for the next in the series. She’s waiting for me to finish it so that we can discuss it together.
